This year’s theme, “Repairs,” invites you to explore the multifaceted concept of mending, healing, and restoring through your artistic expression.

What Does “Repairs” Mean?

“Repairs” encompasses many interpretations, from the literal to the symbolic. We encourage you to think about repairs in terms of the following:

• Physical Restoration: Art that depicts the process of fixing or restoring objects, environments, or even the human body.
• Emotional Healing: Works that convey the journey of emotional recovery and the mending of the heart and mind.
